VIKING Firefighter Hood

The new Fire Hood is made up of three layers and protects the neck, ears and chin. Between the soft viscose layers is a very thin layer of Dupont Nomex Nano Flex, which forms a protective barrier without decreasing the wearing comfort. This material is thinner and lighter than other fire-resistant materials, it is also very breathable, has a high flame-retardant property and protects it against contaminated particles.
With the addition of the Nomex Nano Flex, the neck and a large part of the face are better protected, which is normally the most vulnerable and least protected part of the body.
